Associate Attorney

Seeking two Associate Attorneys to join its growing litigation team. This fully remote position is open to attorneys based in California who will primarily support California clients and litigation matters.

This opportunity is ideal for recent law school graduates or attorneys with up to two years of litigation experience who are looking to develop their careers in civil litigation. Associates will work closely with experienced partners and gain hands-on experience handling a broad range of litigation responsibilities, including discovery, motion practice, court appearances, and case management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support defense-related civil litigation matters in California state and federal courts.
• Assist with discovery, document review, written discovery, and case preparation.
• Draft motions, pleadings, legal memoranda, and other litigation-related documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Participate in court appearances, hearings, and case conferences.
• Assist with depositions and witness preparation.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Maintain organized case files and meet litigation deadlines.
• Work closely with supervising partners on active litigation matters.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar admission required.
• 0–2 years of litigation experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in civil litigation, product warranty, product liability, or insurance defense matters.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff.
