This policy explains what personal information we collect when you apply for a job, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.
When you apply to a job or create an employer account, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email, phone number, location, resume, work preferences, and any information you add in our optional questionnaire. We also record limited technical data (such as IP address and timestamps) to verify submissions and prevent abuse.
We use your information to: match you with relevant job opportunities; share your application and resume with the relevant employer/hiring client; contact you about roles, interviews, and your application status via your preferred method; verify that submissions are genuine; and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information.
By submitting your details and checking the consent box, you agree that the recruiters of the firm named on the job may contact you by phone, e-mail or text message about that role and similar opportunities. Message and data rates may apply to texts; reply STOP to any text to end them. Every marketing email we send identifies us, includes our mailing address, and offers a one-click way to unsubscribe. You can opt out at any time via the link in any email or on our unsubscribe page. Transactional messages (for example, a verification code) may still be sent as needed to operate the service.
Your application goes to the recruiting team of the partner firm named on the job. With your knowledge, that firm presents you to its hiring client for the role you applied to. With your consent given when applying, partner firms on this platform may also consider you for similar roles. We also use service providers who help us run the site (for example, Microsoft, which hosts our applicant systems). We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your data to third parties.
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and consider you for current and future roles, unless you ask us to delete it.
Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in access-controlled systems. While no method is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Depending on where you live (including under CCPA in California and PIPEDA in Canada), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].
Our services are not directed to individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
