About the Opportunity:

As an Automotive Technician, you’ll inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles using automotive diagnostic tools, technical information, and hands-on expertise. You’ll work across vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, suspension, and automotive electrical systems, while delivering clear, helpful service to customers. Dealership experience and familiarity with GM vehicles are welcome, but are not required unless specified by the employer.

Responsibilities:

Perform automotive diagnostics and repairs, including vehicle transmission system repair, diesel engine repair, and vehicle suspension system repair as needed.

Complete routine vehicle maintenance and automotive service, including alignment work and inspections.

Use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools to identify issues and complete repairs safely.

Interpret schematics and automotive wiring diagrams; diagnose advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and electrical concerns.

Document findings, explain recommended work, and support customer service and auto estimating.

Skills:

Essential: Mechanical knowledge, automotive repair experience, mechanic or service technician experience, and proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools.

Essential: Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics and work with vehicle systems, powertrain, transmissions, and automotive electrical systems.

Preferred: Dealership experience, GM vehicle familiarity, ADAS experience, diesel engine repair, alignment, and welding.

Comfortable using hand and power tools and performing maintenance and vehicle repairs with attention to safety and detail.
