Civil Construction Estimator

Job Summary:
Client is seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to join our growing team. We are looking for a motivated professional with 2+ years of estimating experience in civil construction, specifically with water, sewer, and site development projects.

Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for civil construction projects.
Perform quantity take-offs from plans and specifications.
Estimate water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, grading, and site utility work.
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
Identify project risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving alternatives.
Work closely with project managers and operations to ensure smooth project handoff.
Attend pre-bid meetings and assist with bid submissions.

Qualifications:
2+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction.
Strong knowledge of water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and site utility construction.
Experience estimating earthwork, grading, excavation, and underground utilities.
Ability to read and interpret civil plans and specifications.
Experience with estimating software (AGTEK) is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple bids and meet deadlines.
