# Immigration Attorney
**Our Northbrook, Illinois Office · Chicago Metro Area**
**Full-time · Hybrid · Base + KPI Bonus**
We're looking for an experienced immigration attorney to take real ownership of a caseload—not just work assigned files, but help shape how we screen, prioritize, and manage cases.
## Why This Role
You get autonomy over your standards, case judgment, and client relationships without the overhead of going solo. We cover filing costs, marketing and intake, and malpractice coverage. Your base salary is paid every two weeks regardless of case volume that month, plus a KPI bonus tied to metrics we agree on together. Our focus is on quality, not simply volume.
## What You'll Own
You'll take ownership of case acceptance criteria, workflow, and client communication standards across family-based, employment-based, and humanitarian matters, including:
* Adjustment of Status (AOS)
* N-400
* PERM/labor certification
* H-1B and other nonimmigrant petitions
* Removal defense
* USCIS follow-up, including RFEs, expedites, and congressional inquiries
You'll set the standards for your cases and client relationships, and we'll provide the support and resources you need to succeed.
## What We Provide
* Northbrook office with hybrid flexibility
* Cloud-based case management
* Intake and paralegal support
* Funded marketing
* CLE and bar dues
* Malpractice coverage
* Filing cost coverage
* A meaningful seat at the table with autonomy in how you practice law
## What We're Looking For
* Minimum 5+ years of experience practicing immigration law, with substantial experience as attorney of record
* Genuine independence and confidence in owning a caseload and setting standards for staff
* Licensed and in good standing in Illinois
* Spanish, Ukrainian, Russian, or Polish fluency is a strong plus, but not required, as we serve a substantial Eastern European and Spanish-speaking client base
Benefits:
* Paid time off
**Work Location:** Hybrid remote in Northbrook, IL 60062
