Road Service Technician

We are seeking a 310T Truck and Coach Technician to provide mobile diagnostic and repair services for heavy-duty diesel trucks throughout Ottawa and the surrounding East End. The successful candidate will travel directly to customer locations, diagnose breakdowns, complete repairs, and ensure vehicles are safely returned to service.

Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer service calls and perform on-site repairs.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Manage repairs from initial diagnosis through completion.
Maintain a clean and organized service truck.
Use diagnostic equipment and repair systems effectively.
Complete required training and maintain customer satisfaction.
Follow all applicable safety procedures.
Participate in future on-call, evening, and weekend service as required.

Requirements
Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician License – required.
Heavy-duty diesel truck experience, preferably in a dealership environment.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to interpret service manuals and electrical schematics.
Experience with tools such as DiagnosticLink, Cummins INSITE, WABCO Toolbox, Service Ranger, Allison DOC, or Bendix ACom.
G Class driver's license preferred; DZ is an asset.
ODP certification.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
Own tools required; some shop tools provided.
Strong communication, organization, and independent work skills.
English/French bilingualism is an asset.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
