Senior Employment Litigation Attorney

Position Overview:
Our firm is seeking an experienced Senior Employment Litigation Attorney with a strong track record of successfully representing clients in employment-related disputes. The ideal candidate will have extensive litigation experience, the ability to manage a substantial caseload independently, and a strong understanding of all stages of the trial process.
In addition to handling complex employment litigation matters, this attorney will play an important role in mentoring and developing junior associates, sharing knowledge and best practices to help build the next generation of successful legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a significant caseload of employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Represent clients throughout all stages of litigation and trial.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, notices, discovery documents, and other legal filings.
• Develop and execute effective litigation strategies tailored to each matter.
• Conduct legal research and analyze applicable laws, regulations, and case law.
• Handle discovery, depositions, negotiations, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Work toward favorable resolutions through settlement negotiations, mediation, or trial.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain strong case organization, documentation, and deadlines.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level associates on litigation strategy, legal writing, case management, and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure high-quality client service.

Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license and good standing with the applicable state bar.
• Significant experience handling employment litigation matters.
• Proven ability to independently manage a large and complex caseload.
• Strong experience drafting pleadings, motions, notices, and other litigation documents.
• Thorough understanding of the litigation and trial process.
• Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior attorneys.
• Strong client-service skills and professional judgment.
