Full Job Description
Senior Pool Maintenance Technician
Branch Lead — New Location Launch
About us
We are a premier residential and commercial pool service company serving the Northeast United States. We deliver best-in-class maintenance, repair, and renovation services, backed by modern operating systems and a growing, well-resourced team. As we expand, we are investing in new locations and the people who can lead them.
The Opportunity
We are opening a new service location and providing everything needed to build a real business behind it — hiring, vehicles, marketing, systems, and back-office support. What we need is a local operational leader: someone who will service pools directly and, at the same time, help build out the team around them.
This is a hands-on, player-coach role — not a desk job. In the early days you'll be in the field servicing accounts yourself; as volume grows, you'll recruit, train, and lead the technicians who join you, all while continuing to set the standard for quality. As the location grows, so does your opportunity, including a revenue share that rewards you directly for the success you build. For the right person, this is a career-defining chance to grow alongside a scaling company.
What You'll Do
Be the technical and operational anchor for a new Atlantic Waters branch, setting the tone for quality, reliability, and professionalism from day one.
Perform routine and advanced pool and spa maintenance directly — water chemistry, filtration, pumps, heaters, automation, and seasonal openings and closings — carrying your own accounts, especially early on.
Diagnose and resolve complex equipment and water-quality issues that others can't, acting as the go-to problem solver for the branch.
Build out the local team as the location grows — recruiting input, onboarding, training, coaching, and holding the crew to a high standard.
Manage daily operations, routing, and scheduling using ServiceTitan, keeping jobs on track and customers informed.
Uphold quality and safety standards on every job, ensuring work is done right the first time and to code.
Serve as the face of Atlantic Waters to customers in the new market, building trust and a strong local reputation.
Partner with company leadership on growth — hiring plans, service offerings, process improvements, and hitting revenue targets.
What You Bring
Extensive hands-on experience in pool and spa maintenance and repair, with deep knowledge of equipment, water chemistry, and troubleshooting.
Proven ability to lead, train, and manage a team of technicians in a field-service environment.
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills — you enjoy figuring things out and getting to the root cause.
Highly independent and self-directed, comfortable owning outcomes without day-to-day oversight.
Entrepreneurial mindset — genuinely interested in playing a key role in growing a business and sharing in the upside.
Comfortable with modern field-service software (ServiceTitan experience a strong plus).
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Relevant certifications a plus (e.g., CPO / Certified Pool Operator).
What We Provide
A fully equipped service vehicle, tools, and equipment.
Modern operating systems and technology (ServiceTitan) already in place.
Marketing, lead generation, and back-office support so you can focus on service and growth.
An established, trusted brand and the backing of a well-resourced, growing company.
Training and ongoing support from experienced company leadership.
Compensation & Revenue Share
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
Revenue share tied to the performance of the branch you help build — real upside as the location grows.
A clear path to expanded leadership and responsibility as the branch and company scale.
Benefits package (details discussed during the interview process).
Ready to build something of your own? If you're an experienced technician who's ready to lead, we want to talk to you.
We are an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status.
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
