Tax Advisory & Financial Planning Specialist

A leading multidisciplinary professional services firm in Montréal is seeking a Tax & Financial Analysis Professional (CPA or Tax Specialist) to support entrepreneurs, professionals, and high-net-worth clients with integrated tax and financial planning.

This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced tax specialists, CPAs, lawyers, and planning professionals while developing your expertise in a collaborative environment. No business development or prospecting is required.

Key Responsibilities
Manage tax and integrated planning engagements from analysis through implementation and follow-up
Meet with clients, assess needs, develop recommendations, and support implementation
Work on complex files with internal and external tax, accounting, and legal professionals
Conduct detailed tax research and monitor legislative changes
Prepare technical memos, reports, presentations, and client-friendly content
Maintain accurate and compliant file documentation
Contribute to improving internal processes, tools, and practices

Qualifications
CPA, Tax Specialist, Lawyer, Notary, or equivalent professional qualification
2–5 years of tax experience in an accounting or professional services firm – required
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent French and good English communication skills
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Client-service mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Professional integrity, initiative, and attention to detail
