Position Overview
The Law Offices is seeking an experienced attorney with a background in workers’ compensation and/or personal injury litigation.

Attorneys with either plaintiff-side or defense-side experience are encouraged to apply. This position offers an opportunity for a seasoned lawyer seeking a lateral move into a growing plaintiff's practice with immediate responsibility and meaningful trial assignments.

Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation and/or personal injury matters.
Handle litigation from case evaluation through resolution.
Conduct and defend depositions.
Prepare for and participate in arbitrations, hearings, and trials.
Develop litigation strategies and case theories.
Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
Negotiate settlements and communicate with opposing counsel, insurance carriers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Provide strong, compassionate representation to injured clients.
Work collaboratively with attorneys and legal support staff.
Maintain an organized and efficient caseload.

Qualifications
Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
Demonstrated experience in workers’ compensation and/or personal injury litigation.
Plaintiff-side or defense-side experience will be considered.
Strong litigation, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
Experience handling depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and/or trials.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and case-management abilities.
Client-focused approach with a commitment to aggressive advocacy.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Compensation
Compensation and employment terms are negotiable and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and track record.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a seasoned litigator who wants to join an established but growing plaintiff's firm and take on immediate trial and litigation responsibilities. Attorneys coming from either workers’ compensation or personal injury practices—and from either the plaintiff or defense side—may be considered.
