About the opportunity:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Fire Suppression Service Technician to inspect, test, maintain, and service kitchen hood suppression systems and fire suppression systems that protect commercial cooking equipment. This role involves working directly with customers to ensure systems are compliant, operational, and maintained according to applicable fire safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect, test, service, and maintain commercial kitchen fire suppression systems.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and system repairs.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local fire codes.
• Complete inspection reports and service documentation accurately.
• Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide professional customer service while working at client locations.
• Coordinate with customers regarding system status, compliance requirements, and service schedules.

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience servicing fire suppression systems, kitchen hood systems, or related fire protection equipment.
• Experience with Ansul, Range Guard, kitchen hood suppression systems, or special hazard systems preferred.
• Knowledge of NFPA 17A and NFPA 96 is highly preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to work independently in the field and interact professionally with customers.
• Must successfully pass background screening, drug screening, and physical examination.
• Massachusetts #48 Systems License preferred/required.
