About the Firm

A mid-sized law firm located in the East Metro area, is urgently seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team. The firm is looking for someone with strong litigation support experience who can work closely with attorneys on legal research, case preparation, discovery, and trial support.

Responsibilities

Conduct factual and legal research using resources such as LexisNexis.

Draft and prepare motions, affidavits, pleadings, correspondence, and legal memoranda.

Locate, interview, and gather information from clients and witnesses.

Conduct case investigations and collect relevant documents and evidence.

Review damages and analyze medical, financial, and employment records.

Identify and coordinate with expert witnesses.

Attend site inspections and accident investigations.

Prepare subpoenas, deposition notices, discovery requests, and responses.

Prepare case chronologies and summaries of depositions, witness interviews, expert opinions, and discovery materials.

Assist attorneys during depositions and trials.

Organize exhibits, evidence, affidavits, and other documents for legal proceedings.

Monitor court deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and orders.

Requirements

Previous experience working as a Litigation Paralegal.

Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court rules, and litigation procedures.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools, including LexisNexis.

Ability to draft, review, and interpret legal documents.

Strong organizational, communication, and research skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently as well as within a team.

Four-year degree in Law or a related field, or an Associate's Degree from an ABA-approved paralegal program, preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with government liability matters.

Familiarity with litigation document management systems.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
