Quality Engineer / Quality Manager - Precision Manufacturing

Windsor Beach Technologies is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer or Quality Manager to strengthen quality control, inspection processes, and continuous improvement across our precision CNC manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CNC machining quality, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work directly with production teams to resolve quality issues.
Depending on experience, this position may include responsibility for managing the quality department and developing the company's quality management systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee quality control activities for CNC milling, turning, and Swiss machining operations.
• Review engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer quality requirements.
• Develop and maintain inspection plans, control plans, and quality procedures.
• Manage First Article Inspection (FAI), in-process inspections, and final inspections.
• Investigate nonconformances and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support customer quality audits and supplier quality management.
• Monitor scrap, rework, and quality performance metrics.
• Improve inspection efficiency, process controls, and manufacturing quality.
• Maintain and improve the company's ISO 9001 quality management system.
• For manager-level candidates, supervise quality personnel and lead quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of quality engineering experience in CNC precision manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and precision inspection methods.
• Experience with CMM programming and operation preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
• Experience with FAI, CAPA, 8D, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to work directly with machinists and engineers to resolve quality issues.
• Previous quality management or team leadership experience preferred for manager-level candidates.
