Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Facilitate structured and therapeutic group therapy sessions based on client needs and treatment goals
• Conduct clinical assessments and identify client strengths, needs, and treatment goals
• Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as clinically appropriate
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives, audits, and performance improvement activities
• Address resident, family, and staff concerns professionally and promptly
• Attend meetings, training, and continuing education programs as required
• Flexibility and commitment to work the hours and times required to perform the responsibilities of the job, including evenings and weekends
• Maintain a positive, open relationship with all management and staff
• Utilize all communication tools including FIN
• Maintain and advocate for all Flatrock residents’ rights
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by Clinical Supervisor

Qualifications:
• Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field
• Current LLP, LPC, or MSW credential/license in the State of Michigan required
• Previous experience providing group therapy is required
• Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health and behavioral health concerns
• Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of occupational therapy
• Current knowledge of treatment practices per discipline and drive to continually learn and grow in the profession
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
