We are seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney to join our growing team in Westside Los Angeles (Marina del Rey / Culver City). We are a respected California workers’ compensation defense firm representing employers, insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured entities throughout California.

Our attorneys handle complex workers’ compensation matters before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) and provide strategic defense solutions for our clients from initial case evaluation through resolution.

Position Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will independently manage workers’ compensation defense matters while working collaboratively with attorneys, claims professionals, and clients.

Responsibilities include:

● Handle workers’ compensation cases from initial file review through settlement, trial, and appeals
● Develop and execute case strategy tailored to client goals
● Conduct and defend depositions
● Manage discovery, pleadings, motions, and WCAB proceedings
● Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, physicians, and claims representatives
● Evaluate exposure, negotiate settlements, and advocate for clients at hearings and trials
● Maintain strong organization and attention to detail while managing an active caseload

Qualifications

● Active California State Bar license
● Experience handling California workers’ compensation defense matters
● Ability to independently manage cases while contributing to a collaborative team environment
