Litigation Associate – Estate & Trust

Location: Vancouver, BC | Hybrid
Salary: $145,000–$175,000 per year

A growing Vancouver litigation boutique is seeking a **Litigation Associate** with 3–5 years of experience to join its sophisticated estate and trust litigation practice. The role offers meaningful exposure to complex disputes involving trusts, wills, capacity, undue influence, elder law, powers of attorney, and related estate matters.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior counsel and progressively take ownership of files while contributing to larger and more complex matters.

Key Responsibilities:

* Draft pleadings, affidavits, mediation briefs, written submissions, and court materials.
* Develop litigation strategy and conduct legal research.
* Communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
* Prepare for and attend chambers applications, discoveries, mediations, and trials.
* Progressively manage files independently.

Requirements:

* 3–5 years of litigation experience.
* Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
* Strong general litigation, drafting, and advocacy experience.
* Excellent knowledge of the Supreme Court Civil Rules.
* Strong analytical, writing, communication, and judgment skills.
* Estate and trust litigation experience is preferred but not required.

Benefits: 1,400 billable-hour target, bonus eligibility, four weeks’ vacation, extended health benefits, and hybrid flexibility.
